Classic Mini Bulkhead Blanking Plate

Our bulkhead blanking plate for the Classic Mini features a two-piece design allowing it to be assembled around the existing wiring loom, creating a seal between the engine bay and the inside of the car. This helps to prevent odours from the engine bay reaching the cabin, as well as reducing engine noise in the cabin, and helping to insulate the cabin. 
 
Manufactured in a durable carbon fibre composite material, our blanking plate also features a rubber seal around its perimeter to seal between the plate and the bulkhead, as well as rubber grommets for the wiring loom and speedo cable. The rubber grommet for the wiring loom is split into two halves, each bonded to its respective piece of the blanking plate, allowing for as easy fitment as possible - the two halves simply meet and wrap around either side of the wiring loom.  
 
The kit is supplied with 3x M4 bolts for joining the two halves of the plate together, and 4x self tapping screws for fixing the blanking plate to the bulkhead. The kit requires careful drilling of 4x pilot holes for the self tapping screws. We recommend using a 2.5mm drill bit for this task. 
 
Available with the logo in white, or with a black logo for a stealthier look. We also offer a ‘Ready to Paint’ version of the kit, which features a smooth surface finish that’s ready to prime and paint.
