HMW Injection Twintake - Performance Air Box for SPI / MPI Mini

The HMW Injection Twintake is a high-flow performance air filter housing for the SPI and MPI Classic Minis. It is a direct replacement for the standard air box featuring twin inlets and an integrated velocity stack.
 
Through air flow testing, the HMW Injection Twintake is 79% less restrictive on average than the standard air box (both boxes fitted with the same performance filter element). This is thanks to the two front facing inlet snorkels allowing a larger volume of air intake, and the internal velocity stack optimising flow into the throttle body. The velocity stack helps to actively improve air flow into the throttle body by up to 50% compared to the same inlet with no air filter at all. 
 
Induction sound is also improved with the Twintake, sounding much sportier when under load, whilst remaining suitably pleasant under standard driving conditions. 
 
The SPI version of the Injection Twintake includes provision for the Air Temperature Sensor. 
 
The HMW Injection Twintake is a stylish and effective upgrade over a standard air box or cone-style air filter for the SPI and MPI Classic Minis, providing a significantly less restrictive induction system whilst also maintaining all the benefits of an enclosed filter box. The Injection Twintake uses the standard sized air filter element for SPI and MPI Minis.
