HMW Twintake - Performance Air Filter Box

The HMW Twintake is a performance air filter box for the Classic Mini -  suitable for A Series engines running an SU HS4, HIF38, or HIF44 carb. The HMW Twintake is a direct replacement for the standard Classic Mini airbox. 
 
When paired with a performance filter element, such as K&N, the Twintake offers considerable performance gains over other intake options. The enclosed filter design also means that the induction noise is not obnoxious for day to day driving, while still offering a lovely induction sound and really coming to life under load. Warning: The sound under load is addictive. 
 
Through air flow testing, the Twintake is 70% less restrictive than the standard airbox, and 45% less restrictive than a drilled modified airbox. The Twintake actively improves airflow, actually offering an INCREASE in air flow compared to no filter/airbox at all. 
 
During extensive testing, both on the road and on the dyno, the Twintake outperforms the standard intake setup, a modified drilled air box, and a K&N cone filter, providing increased power and torque throughout the rev range. 
 
The Twintake is manufactured in a durable, carbon fibre composite material, and includes 2x custom knurled filter box nuts.
